Altera Quartus Integration.
I was looking to see how this could be set as the default editor for Quartus but I can not find anyway to launch eclipse with a starting file and line number. For proper integration and use as a default editor for Quartus after a compile you need to be able to double click on the error and bring up the file and line for quick changes. Can someone tell me if this is possible with the Sigasi plug-in and eclipse.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Michael, We have a blog
Hi Michael,
We have a blog post that describes the procedure for setting Sigasi as the default VHDL editor for Xilinx. You should be able to infer the procedure for Quartus from this. You will be able to open the correct VHDL file in Sigasi from within Quartus.
As for the line numbers: neither Eclipse nor Sigasi support jumping to the correct line number from another tool at this time. For now, I'm afraid you will have to go to the line "by hand". CTRL+L will get you there.

Eclipse plugin
If you use the Eclipse plugin, opening a file from the command line only works in Eclipse 3.6 (Helios), not in 3.5 (Galileo) or earlier.
