Context menu New > File pops-up error dialog for any file named *.bat

1. Right-click a project folder
2. Click New > File
3. Choose as a name anything ending with .bat, e.g., script.bat
4. An error message is shown:

Eclipse wants to run this as an executable by default. Just right-click and select Open With > Text Editor.

You can set the default file association here: Window > Preferences > General >Editors >File Associations
