Deprecated library warnings: to much noise

While I like the idea of going to the standard IEEE libraries, the fact is that vendor tools still use the older versions (std_logic_arith, _unsigned, etc.) and I have hundreds (thousands?) of files of my own that use these libraries that I'm not going to change.

Is there a way to tell HDT to stop warning me about these libraries? There are so many warnings about deprecated libraries that I can't see if there are any real warnings.

Until this is fixed, is there a way to display more than 100 warnings?

thanks,

-Tim.

Problem markers limited to 100

We've added a few extra priority points to this.

In the meantime, you can see as many problems as you like. Click the triangle in the upper right hand corner of the problems view to access the preferences.

Too many markersToo many markers

Then, increase the number of markers to be shown. Problem markers in Eclipse (and hence in Sigasi HDT) are relatively expensive (i.e. slow) objects. If you set this to unlimited, you may clog up your CPU.

Also note that you can select and delete markers. They will reappear when the file or the project is recompiled.

Configurable severities

We have configurable severities ready for our upcoming release.
