file filtering option on "point to existing vhdl project"

Hi

Currently if I point to a existing VHDL project I get no option to tell sigasi to only import the vhdl and maybe some TCL files. In stead it takes in the complete project. Currently we have some projects which contain over 8000 files (sopc / modelsim quartus files etc). Eclipse and Sigasi are not that happy performing with this amount of files. Would be nice to get a filter option when pointing to an existing VHDL project.

We've investigated this in the past and we didn't find significant performance degradation (even with > 20000 non-vhdl files in a project). Could you describe the situation a bit more precise.
What exactly is slow, is it the build time or is the the responsiveness of eclipse. Is your project stored locally on your computer or on a network drive. What other plugins are you using, especially what plugin for revision control.

If you don't want to see the non-vhdl files, you can use a file filter (see: http://www.sigasi.com/documentation/user/gui.html#project-view-usage and http://www.sigasi.com/forum/feature-request-hiding-files-project-are-un-...)
