Install Sigasi HDT 1.0 as Eclipse VHDL plugin in Eclipse Helios
Note that this is about the Sigasi HDT 1.0 version. We recommend using Sigasi 2.x. Read the Sigasi 2.x installation instructions.
Sigasi HDT is available from the Eclipse Market Place, as of Eclipse 3.6.
Instead of reading this, you can also watch the screencast.

Prerequisites: Eclipse
- You need to have at least Eclipse version 3.6, nicknamed Helios. If you have Eclipse 3.5 (or if your Helios version does not have the Eclipse Marketplace Client enabled) you should follow a different installation procedure.
- If you don't have Eclipse installed yet, the C/C++ flavor would be good place to start. Just download (Windows / Linux), unzip and start.
- We recommend you also increase the heap size for Eclipse.
Install the VHDL Eclipse Plugin
After starting Eclipse Helios:
- Click Help > Eclipse Marketplaceā¦
- Select Eclipse Marketplace and click Next.
- Type Sigasi in the searchbox and click Go
- Sigasi HDT will appear. Click the install button.
- The following steps are pretty self-explaining.
- When you are asked to do so, fill in you license key.
If you haven't done so, walk through our built-in tutorial. If you have a trial license, finishing this tutorial will get you an extra week on top of your current license.
