The whole environment has a very intuitive feel to an experienced VHDL user. Also, I am simply blown away by the ability to simply mouse over a constant or signal and have its definition appear in a pop-up.

The refactoring capabilities of Sigasi are impressive. Finding and correcting errors and warnings, context sensitive search, code completion, encapsulating modules, adding signals to source files etc. really decreases development time.

Coming from a software background and learning VHDL I saw that their tools for writing code were lousy. I feel very productive with this Sigasi HDT, spending less time on the little quirks of VHDL and focus more on design/logic.
