Dear Sigasi HDT user,

This Sigasi HDT 1.0 service release brings two minor enhancements and some bug fixes:

  • ticket 1815 : Our parser now supports multi-dimensional arrays (VHDL 2008)
  • ticket 1754 : Improved detection of 32/64 bit environment for ISim
  • ticket 1886 : Resolved null pointer exception for perpetual/permanent FlexNet licenses
  • ticket 1742 : Resolved null pointer exception in compile context menu

Dear Sigasi HDT user,

This Sigasi HDT 1.0 release brings a minor enhancement and some bug fixes:

  • Our parser now supports for the VHDL 2008 condition operator: ??
  • ticket:1699 : Compile with modelSim does not work if the selected file is a linked file (with relative path)
  • ticket:1514 : The entire workspace is rebuild when starting a simulation. See solution in this forum topic.

Dear Sigasi HDT user,

This release brings two minor enhancements to Sigasi HDT 1.0's ModelSim integration. We added a pre- and post-compile hook to the compile TCL script and no longer overwrite the modelsim.ini configuration file (ticket:1443).

Dear Sigasi HDT user,

We first would like to thank you for all the bugreports we got through the new Automated Bugreporting feature. This release already resolves a lot of the automatically reported problems.

While working through the reports, we felt that the Bug Reporter assembled more information than strictly necessary. We appended the complete Eclipse configuration dump (Help > About > Installation details > Configuration) to the error stacktrace. While this configuration data is usually pretty boring stuff, it is really none of our business to see all details of your complete configuration.

As of this release, we won't send the configuration data along with bug reports. Note that the bug report tool has been, and still is disabled by default for trial users and for paying customers. We didn't run into anything that looks confidential and we're deleting all of the reports that contain this configuration dump. We're sorry that this happened. If you have any questions about the Bug Reporter, please feel free to contact us directly.

  • Sigasi HDT's VHDL editor now supports multi-line comments for VHDL 2008 (ticket:1372).

  • We also added the FlexNet License Manager to Sigasi HDT so we can now offer FlexNet floating licenses (more info).

Bugfixes

  • ticket:1057 : Do not overwrite edits in ISim TCL script (isim.cmd)
  • ticket:1362 : Project explorer view filters should not hide the logical libraries view
  • ticket:1409 : New file templates should respect tab settings
  • ticket:1411 : TODO tags should be removed from files that are unmapped
  • ticket:1429 : Comment ticket builder should not remove manually edited tasks
