Sigasi internship proposal 2019-2020
- Skills: Java, Eclipse
- Target audience: computer science engineers, electronics engineers, master of informatics
With great software comes great usability. There is not much point in writing an amazing piece of software if the user cannot figure out how to use it.
One important aspect of making software usable is to reduce the cognitive load, allowing the user to focus on the task at hand. Designing for example dialog windows in such a way that a user knows how to use them without having seen them before. Having the ESC key close the dialog, as well as ENTER confirming the expected response will have a positive impact on the productivity of the user.
The objective of this internship is to improve the UX of a product that is used worldwide by other developers. Working together with the core development team, you will track down and fix any inconsistencies in the UI and find out ways to improve it even further.
